When Town of Rocky Hill, CT, officials heeded a call from local contractors for a more updated digital permitting solution, they chose to partner with OpenGov, the leader in modern cloud software for our nation’s cities.Staff from the Town, located in the Hartford metro area, had been using an outdated digital solution, which lacked the flexibility they needed. At the same time, local contractors were using OpenGov Citizen Services in other parts of the region and raved about its capabilities. Town staff plan to roll out OpenGov Citizen Services applications in stages, starting with building permits. Meanwhile, contractors will be able to more quickly get back to their job of helping develop the Town.
