●     Snap Screenshot on HP with PrtSc Key


The fastest means to take a screenshot on HP is via simple keyboard clicks using the PrtSc key. This is usually found in the function key (f-key) buttons on Windows-powered keyboard laptops or PCs and close to the ‘Delete’ button on the right-hand corner. To snap a screenshot in full-screen mode, just hold the PrtSc key and the activity would be done in seconds. This will automatically be saved to your laptop’s images.

Meanwhile, there are other means of using the PrtSc key depending on their location on your laptop’s keyboard. If the PrtSc key is towards the right side of the f-keys, you can directly make a screenshot using the PrtSc key. But if it is to the top or bottom of the f-keys, then you need to use the Fn +PrtSc key or press the Windows + PrtSc key to take a screenshot on your HP laptop.

A second option is to use the in-built snipping tool on most Windows-powered HP laptops. The snipping tool is available for Windows 10, 8, and 7 HP computers and this tool allows users to take detailed screenshots on their laptops. To use the Snipping Tool, the quickest way is to click on the Windows Start button at the base of your laptop and search for the Snipping Tool. An alternative way of opening this tool is to hold the Windows + R key to open the Run window and type ‘Snipping Tool’ into the search box.

Open the application and select the drop-down menu of the Mode option to select the type of snip or screenshots you want to take. You can either choose from Free-form Snip, Rectangular Snip, Window Snip, and Full-screen Snip from the drop-down menu. Once a snipping framework has been selected, the entire screen of your laptop would switch to gray. Immediately, begin to frame the image you want to screenshot on HP computer and the file would be saved to your media.

Another quick shortcut to using the Snipping Tool is to click on the New button or Ctrl + N beside the Mode option.
