Traveling the world is an even more precious experience in the COVID-19 era. Still, there is much to see, and tourism is still alive and flourishing. When you are backed, for example, by an experienced travel agency Boiana MG, unexplored countries are more fun. So, where will we go in 2021?
In Europe
While hardly there is anything unseen in France or Spain, there are other countries that welcome tourists even in the lockdown era. For example, Bulgaria, well-known for its sand beaches, ancient towns, and fused but unique cuisine, officially announces tourism a priority. Hospitality workers are among the first to be vaccinated, making it safer for tourists as well. So are other traditional tourist attractions, like the Czech Republic with its medieval and imperial towns, and Montenegro right at the mildest sea?
Maybe it makes sense to look at Albania, the country that seems to have no quarantine at all and very mild restrictions for tourists. Its sightseeing potential is just unfolding, and an unusual culture has its attractiveness, too, despite its not-so-flattering depiction in movies like Taken.
In Africa
Well, the tourist Africa has always been the Northern Africa, featuring Egypt, Tunisia, or Morocco. But hardly they conceal any surprises for an experienced tourist. It’s time now to explore Sub-Saharan Africa, countries like Kenya or Tanzania, or even the South African Republic. These countries welcome tourists even in COVID-19 times (though vaccinating or negative tests are still necessary),
Of course, they will share much less with the traditional Africa you have seen in movies or read about in books. Still, national parks will deliver the experience you hoped for deep inside when thinking of an African tour.
In Asia
While traditional tourist spots in Asia are too hot this time, mostly because of COVID-19 still spreading there, there are still countries in Asia that welcome tourists. For example, we still have Taiwan (China that’s not that China), Indonesia (with many more islands than the famous Bali), Maldives, Laos, Cambodia with its ancient towns and temples and stunning landscapes, Brunei, known for its recent riches, and Fiji Islands.
Traditional tourist attractions like Turkey and UAE are still accessible, with some restrictions, but quarantine restrictions make them much less fun. Some countries, like South Korea or Japan, do not welcome tourists at all these days.
Get Ready!
While the first thing to do before setting off is certainly getting vaccinated, there are other ways of preparation as well. The first among them is learning a bit about local manners, just not to offend anyone unintendedly. Just as important is learning technical conditions so that you would not damage your electronic devices by using the wrong charger.
And, of course, tell your friends about it by sharing it on Facebook or Twitter. As they see your interest, they may want to accompany you or give you some precious advice. The same you can do down here in the comments, and we will be grateful for that.
