Christina's career is marked by her outstanding accomplishments in complex litigation. She has played a pivotal role in establishing and leading multidistrict and coordinated proceedings, negotiating case management procedures, and briefing and arguing dispositive issues in federal courts throughout the United States as well as the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation.
As a trial lawyer in the Environmental Tort Litigation Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Division, Christina was instrumental in advising and directing large-scale discovery and litigation plans for the EPA's Office of Water and its Office of Pollution Prevention & Toxics. Her experience leading national judicially-appointed committees on science, legal briefing, and ESI further underscores her comprehensive skillset.
Christina’s passion for connecting complex scientific and legal issues has been a cornerstone of her career. She excels in understanding and explaining the intricate biological and technical processes of disease and injury causation. This expertise has enabled her to effectively defend and depose multinational corporations and global experts in various scientific fields, contributing significantly to her success in litigation.
Throughout her impressive career, Christina has employed these diverse capabilities to adeptly manage law firm practices and operations, building complex legal insight into TAR models, automated workflows, and robust client and data management systems for the benefit of her clients.
Recognized for her leadership, results, and reputation as a skilled litigator, Christina repeatedly has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in both Kentucky and Washington, DC, and a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in Washington, DC and Texas. She has successfully represented thousands of parties in legal actions involving a wide range of medical devices, consumer products, and environmental contaminants.
